The Tech Nation 2020 report on 'UK Tech for a changing world' was released this week, looking to overview the growth of the technology sector and provide information about opportunities and challenges within it. UK tech is at the forefront of some of the biggest questions, and providing the answers.
The foreword of the report was written by The Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP, where he delights at the breadth of technology businesses originating in the UK. Kindly the Prime Minister initially acknowledges ClinSpec Diagnostics as the "world's first artificial intelligence blood test", "which will accelerate the detection of brain cancer and allow the early treatment that saves lives".
We are extremely pleased to have been mentioned explicitly in the report. Our involvement in Tech Nation as part of the Artificial Intelligence cohort was extremely rewarding for the founders, and a fantastic opportunity to meet with business and investors outside of Scotland.
