Dr. Holly Butler and Dr. Mark Hegarty had the pleasure of presenting to a panel at the Scottish Edge awards. These awards acknowledge innovative, high-growth potential Scottish businesses and provide start-ups with funding to grow. Holly and Mark not only impressed the judges and reached the final, they were also awarded with the Higgs special award of £150,000. This award recgonises businesses in the science and technology field. The judges were impressed with ClinSpec Dx’s purpose stating "I think any product that's going to save lives and help the NHS will be warmly received".
